He holds a PhD in Computer Science from the Institut National Polytechnique de Toulouse (INPT), obtained in 2005, with a thesis developed at the Laboratoire d'Analyse et d'Architecture des Systèmes - LAAS-CNRS, a Masters in Systems Engineering and Computer Science from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (COPPE / UFRJ) obtained in 2000, and a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR) obtained in 1998. In 2008, he joined the Department of Informatics (DI) of the Federal University of the Espirito Santo (UFES) as Adjunct Professor. Since 2012, he has been a CNPq Productivity and Technological Development of Innovative Extension grant-holder (DT level 2). His main interests are in the area of networks, in particular, in Software Defined Networks and Performance Analysis.
