Modelo de Arquitetura para Gerenciamento de Qualidade de Serviço e Recursos Utilizando OpenFlow 1.3

The Openflow 1.3 protocol defines the Meters, an entity that can be related to Quality of Service (QoS) modeling. This presentation demonstrates how Meters may be used to provide QoS through Software Defined Networking resource reservation, highlighting its purpose and presenting a proposal on how it helps in dynamic bandwidth control and resource management in an OpenFlow network. It is presented also a reference architecture that takes into consideration the knowledgement accumulated in the study and experimentation of QoS capabilities proposed by ONF. Finally, it is presented the results of experiment developed to verify the usage of meters in bandwidth reservation and resource allocation.
