Is a professor at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, holding a PhD Computer Science from the State University of Campinas (2013), having graduated in Higher Engineering in Telecommunications from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (2004), with an MA in Dipl. Elektrotechnik Engineering from the Darmstadt University of Technology (2006) and a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Unicamp (2010). From 2010 to 2013 he worked as a senior researcher at CPqD, working in R & D projects in the area of IP platforms of the Converged Networks Division (CND). He has over 50 publications in journals and conferences and holds two international patents.
