Adriano Mauro Cansian

Holds a PhD in Computational Physics from the University of São Paulo (1997). He is currently assistant professor at UNESP – the São Paulo State University, São José do Rio Preto Campus, SP. He is a reviewer for two journals, “Computers & Security" (Elsevier) and “The International Journal of Forensic Computer Science - IJoFCS". He is also coordinator of the ACME! Laboratory for Research into Security, UNESP, São José do Rio Preto (http://www.acmesecurity.org). In 2006 he was awarded a prize as one of 50 most influential professionals in information security in Brazil. In 2007 he also received the “2006 SecMaster” prize offered by ISSA - Information Systems Security Association for the best contribution to the public sector. He is coordinator of GTS – the Working Group on security of the Brazilian Internet Steering Committee (http://gts.nic.br).
